Privacy Policy for the Synapse Mobile Application

Effective Date: November 30, 2025

1. Introduction and General Provisions

This Privacy Policy governs the processing of information related to the use of the Synapse mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App").

The Synapse App is a tool for local note-taking.

2. Principle of Information Processing

The Developer adheres to the principle of minimal data collection. The primary functionality of the App does not require and does not collect the User's personal data.

3. Collection and Use of Personal Data

The Synapse App does not collect or store your personal data, including name, email address, phone number, or geolocation.

3.1. Collection of Advertising Identifiers (Crucial Disclosure)

Although the Right Holder does not directly collect or store Unique Advertising Identifiers (IDFA/AAID), the **third-party advertising networks** used to display ads (as outlined in the Public Offer) **may automatically collect** these identifiers and IP addresses. The collection and use of this data are performed by the advertising networks solely for the purpose of serving targeted advertisements and measuring campaign performance, and are governed by the respective privacy policies of those networks.

4. Data Processed Locally (On-Device)

All user-created data is stored exclusively on your mobile device and is not transmitted to external servers (including the Developer's servers).

The Developer does not have access to this local data and is not responsible for its backup or loss.

5. Network Interaction and External Resources

Although Synapse is primarily a local application, it performs limited network interaction to provide additional functionality:

5.1. URL Launcher

Used to open external web links in your device's browser.

5.2. Interaction with Stores and Anonymous Data Collection

The App may exchange minimal data with the Google Play and App Store platforms for license verification and updates. Additionally, we use built-in tools of these platforms to collect anonymous statistics and crash reports, which include:

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify the User.

5.3. Interaction via Deep URI Links

The App supports the use of Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) to enable interaction with other applications or websites installed on your device. When the App is launched via a URI link, it may receive necessary parameters (e.g., note identifiers) to perform a specific action (e.g., opening a note). These parameters are processed exclusively locally on the device to execute the requested action and are not saved and not transmitted to the Developer.

6. Interaction with Other Applications (Share Plus)

The App uses the `Share Plus` function so that you can voluntarily share your notes or PDF files with other applications installed on your device (e.g., messengers or email).

The Developer does not track or control the content you share and is not responsible for the privacy policies of the third-party applications to which you transfer data.

7. Links to External Resources and Applications

The App may contain links to other websites and applications. We are not responsible for the privacy policy or content of other resources.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy. The new version of the Policy takes effect from the moment it is published on this page. We recommend regularly reviewing this Policy.
